With a deep sense of pride and achievement, Alpine Center, is commemorating its 25th Anniversary during the 2011-2012 academic year.
Classes commenced today at the campus located in Glyfada, the “Greek Riviera”, with students coming from all over the globe to attend various programmes of study in all segments of the hospitality and tourism industry. Students from 45 different countries have joined the Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, Spa Management, Events & Conventions Management, and Cruise Ship Hotel Operations programmes.
“This is a year focused on the celebration of our
story and our future” said Mrs Sybil Hofmann, President. “A large part of the
success of Alpine Center and the success of its students is attributed to its
Swiss philosophy of education, emphasizing “learning by doing”, coupled with
the high quality British education system; its highly qualified, professional,
caring and motivated international faculty and staff; its close relationship with the global and
local industry including a dedicated Industry Advisory Board; a very high employment
rate of its graduates all over the world; and its very successful alumni network—our
pride--that is a rich source of employment for fresh graduates!” explained Mrs
Hofmann.
“I hope that you share our excitement in reaching this
milestone, which will be marked by special events and an alumni reunion in
December 2012” added Mr Eric Hofmann, Vice President.
