Founded in 1992, Alpine Center's Advisory Board fosters closer ties between Alpine Center and the business community. The Board helps the school achieve its mission by providing the advice and assistance that the members of the Board are best qualified to provide. The Advisory Board facilitates the school's achievement of its mission and goals by:
Members of the Advisory Board serve as effective spokespersons and make the community at large aware of the school's contributions. Board members also provide feedback to the school from the community and sponsor various public relations events.
The Advisory Board and individual members provide advice and assistance to identify development needs and help communicate the school's story to alumni, the business community, corporations and foundations.
The Advisory Board assists in mentorship programmes and internship opportunities. It also helps to improve student placement services and bring speakers to campus for classroom presentations.
